Dr. Edna is the principal gastroenterologist at UHG. She is currently a lecturer at the department of Clinical Medicine and Therapeutics, University of Nairobi, and is pursuing a PhD in Hepatology as a CARTA fellow.

Edna qualified as a doctor in 2004 and completed her Master’s degree in Internal Medicine at the University of Nairobi in 2011. She then proceeded to the University of Cape Town in 2012, where she successfully undertook a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the Groote Schuur Hospital.

Edna has a post graduate certificate in public health from the University of Liverpool and her research interests include gastrointestinal cancer screening and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).

Edna is a recipient of the prestigious World Endoscopy Organization Emerging Stars Award 2017.

Margaret is the clinic administrator at UHG. She holds a diploma in community development and social work. In addition, she has received extensive training in IT and ISO certification.

Prior to joining UHG, Margaret worked for 9 years at the Melchizedek hospital, rising from receptionist to dispatch officer and earning several accolades including, ‘Employee of the year 2015-16’.

Margaret is happiest when serving clients and is passionate about customer satisfaction. During her leisure time, she enjoys swimming and watching soccer.

Stephanie trained as a Nurse at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) and worked in an outpatient medical clinic before joining UHG. She has an interest in critical care nursing.
